At Karunguru Estate Coffee Farm, visitors are invited to embark on an immersive journey that traces the life cycle of Kenyan coffee, from the cultivation of the beans to the final brew in the cup. The tour provides a glimpse into the dedication, expertise, and detailed processes that go into producing this esteemed product. - Day 1
Nairobi to Kiambu
0900 hrs:
Pick up from your residence or hotel in Nairobi
1100 hrs:
A short welcome with a very short introduction into the process of coffee
Tour around the farm to various sites which are synonymous with the coffee process from the young seedling to the parchment grading process to the drying of the coffee
1300 hrs Welcome to a buffet style lunch with a drink that you can enjoy at the gardens in a picnic style. All the vegetables we serve are grown on the farm
We then sit outside in our lush gardens for a coffee tasting experience where you taste different grades, types and varieties of coffee paired with various small pastries
After this you can buy an array of items from our farm, coffee, jam and honey at very affordable prices!
1600 hrs:
drop off at you Nairobi Hotel or residence
