What's included
The Maasai, perhaps the most recognized tribal group in Africa, inhabit much of southern Kenya and are the primary ethnic community surrounding the Masai Mara. This semi-nomadic warrior tribe, whose ancestral lands once spanned vast areas of pre-colonial Kenya, continue to uphold their traditions and live mostly untouched by modern civilization in the regions around the Mara. Visiting a Maasai village offers a unique opportunity to connect with the Maasai people, observe their cultural practices, and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life. During this one-hour visit, guests can see Maasai customs in action and experience firsthand the lifestyle that has shaped this resilient community.
